We offer a variety of techniques in order to better serve your needs:
Swedish Massage - Relieves muscle tension with a light to medium pressure by stimulating blood circulation, releasing toxins in the muscles, and relaxing patient with a soft soothing touch. Swedish massage uses smooth, long connecting strokes, with some circular motions, and kneading of the superficial muscles and tissues. If this is your first experience with massage then Swedish is a good place to start.
Deep Tissue Massage- Works through muscle tension with similar strokes as used in Swedish Massage, but with added pressure to work deeper muscles and connective tissues. Strokes are slower, deeper, and concentrate more on specific areas of discomfort. Deep Tissue is helpful for clients with chronic pain, injuries, or general pain complaints. Due to the nature of this type of massage, possible soreness may occur for 1 - 2 days, but the benefits are long lasting.
Neuromuscular Therapy - Combines Deep Tissue and more advanced Trigger Point Therapy to relax the muscles. Trigger Point work involves releasing specific points in the muscles by compression techniques. These points in the muscles are the cause of direct pain and referral pain. Trigger Points constrict movement of the muscle, thus leading to pain patterns such as headaches, numbness and tingling, weakness and atrophy of the muscle, etc.
CranioSacral Therapy - This therapy encourages the health and wellness of the centeral nervous system by using gentle techniques to realign the craniosacral system, which surrounds and protects the spinal chord and brain. It runs from the top of the cranium down the spine to the sacrum (or tail bone). When the craniosacral system is restored, the central nervous system is free of restrictions, and your body can begin to heal itself. This therapy is done with patient fully clothed, lying on thier back.
CBD OIL Add On - CBD is an appealing option for those who are looking for relief from pain and other symptoms without the mind-altering effects of marijuana or certain pharmaceutical drugs. CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant, then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut or hemp seed oil. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, and causes the sensation of getting “high” that’s often associated with marijuana. However, unlike THC, CBD is NOT psychoactive. Benefits of CBD are: relieves pain, reduces anxiety and depression, has neuroprotective properties, and can alleviate cancer related symptoms.
Cupping Add On - Cupping is an effective way to relieve muscle pain, accelerate recovery, and reduce inflammation by increasing oxygen rich blood flow to areas where cups are placed. Benefits of Cupping are: helps form new connective tissue, creates new blood vessels in the tissue, aids lymph drainage, stimulates cells responsible for collagen production, and relaxes muscle tension.
